Vol. II: (viii),507,(1:blank), (iv: 'Tables') pp. Together 2 vols. with 2 printed titles in red and black, with woodengraved vignette, 2 steelengraved titles with vignette (on all the 4 titles a convent-stamp); 3 maps of resp. Liban, Palestine & Égypte(2 double-page maps) and 1 double-page plan of Jerusalem engraved by R. Hausermann and 38 steelengraved views: together 47 steelengravings and 588 (of 593) woodengraved illustrations. On both of the first blank leaves in calligraphy "Souvenir à Mr et Mme Joseph Nijst de la part de leur cousin Jules Mollée de Nadure, 1884" - On the whole a good set, with only a very few lightbrown spots, with all the steelengravings with their prospective tissues. - It's a pity for the binder's mistake (see above) of such a magnificent work.
