Richly illustrated with woodengravings, i.a. 70 full-page, by Brown, Lacoste, Pannemaker, Bocquet, Duverger, Van Caubeghe, etc. after Huard a.o. - Tome Premier: (iv),402 pp. With 26 full-page engravings (we have seen copies with 28 plates: binder's error). - Tome Deuxième: (iv),420 pp. and 23 full-page engravings. - Tome Troisième: (iv),396 pp. with 21 full-page engravings, including the "Juif errant' by Hendrickx, on a toned background. - All the engravings with protecting tissues. - On the whole a clean set, only a very few small spots in places, about 16 leaves with large brown spots and 6 with marginal waterstain.
