Second volume of a journal dedicated to the pedagogical method of Joseph Jacotot (1770–1840), advocate of intellectual emancipation and universal teaching. Jacotot's method held that all intelligence is equal and that anyone can teach themselves without a master. Includes the motto: 'Je crois que Dieu a créé l'âme humaine capable de s'instruire seule et sans maîtres.'
