Folio (32x24 cm). 20th century provisional binding of old boards, enclosed in marbled paper with, on frontcover title copied on paper. Uncut. (i:blank) leaf, (i: title)leaf. With 54 (2 double-page) plates, engraved by Benard showing tools, machinery and instruments for gardening and agriculture and a few scenes ('labourage', 'moisson', 'jardin potager', 'bassse-cour', etc.). - Atlas only, but complete set of plates. 6 plates browned; of about 40 plates the innermargins have a large lightbrown waterstain and, in case of 6 plates, also affecting the engravings (i.a. around the folts of the double-page plates). For the rest the general condition is good: plates with wide margins, printed on heavy handmade paper.
