Contemporary red halfmorocco, spine gilt in compartments; covers gilt and blindstamped cloth (cloth faded; borders and corners seriously damaged with loss of linen; foot spine damaged; gilt faded). Marbled endpapers (first endpaper with loss of small marginal piece). Otherwise good, spotless, interior condition. 1 blank leaf, title, 1 leaf with introduction & table and about 65 explanatory leaves interleaved with the maps. With together 66 maps in color: 65 double-page maps & 1 folding map. Namely: 2 "Planisphères", 2 "Mappemonde", 11 "France", 50 different countries and continents, and large folding map (58x93 cm!) "Chemins de fer de l'Europe". - All the maps with small oval view.
