Splendours of Flanders: Late Medieval Art in Cambridge Collections.

This volume documents an exhibition held at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, from July to September 1993, showcasing late medieval Flemish art. The exhibition featured paintings, sculpture, tapestries, coins, illuminated manuscripts, printed books, and furniture from various Cambridge collections, including the Fitzwilliam Museum, University Library, and several colleges, as well as items from the British Library and Holkham Hall. Highlights include manuscripts from renowned Burgundian libraries and three panels from Queens' College attributed to the Master of the View of Sainte Gudule. The book combines introductory essays with detailed catalogue entries and is generously illustrated in both color and black and white.
