The 22nd issue of Novyi Vostok, also titled Nouvel Orient, a journal published by the Scientific Association of Oriental Studies in the Soviet Union. It contains scholarly articles on oriental studies, political events in Asia and the Arab world, and internal issues like the role of the national bourgeoisie. The journal was published between 1922 and 1930 and played a significant role in the development of Soviet oriental studies.
